The post I made regarding something we are doing for the site is now closed. Meaning, we are no longer taking entries for the favorite member and why participation. We thank all of you for your submissions. Since I have been a tad busy lately and not been able to go online as much, it will take a few days for me to get this together.
As you all know, Ashley's birthday is on August 1st so please leave a message on our tag board wishing him a happy birthday. Not that he will actually read them, lol, but just for fun! We have also been getting emails regarding our chat room. Apparently, people have been posing as other people and/or saying nasty things about everything. We ask that this does not continue for the sake of the site's reputation as well as the reputation of us as o-Town fans. We will have to either close it down or find another chat room to use that has guidelines. We are all for free speech and all that but when things get out of hand, we have to take control and do what's best for those who use the chat room for fun and not for starting fights or horrible rumors. We thank those of you who have not disrespected the chat room and hope that those who have will stop. :)

Hey guys and gals- so, those of you who check insideo-town probably already know that Erik gave a radio interview this past Friday, where he announced that the group would be taking a break to get some time to themselves. This of course is a major shock, because I know we all feel like the guys have spent the past year taking a break, working on the album, and being out of sight. While this doesn't mean forever, it does mean for a while. The boys' last concert will be August 16th in Orlando, FL. You can check out the whole interview here. Since my Trade and Sell Page has kinda been slipping (no new stuff in months) I'm putting out a request for anyone who has recent concert footage to please contact me at playlife99@aol.com Thanks a lot!

Hey everyone...there is petition going around for O-Town fans to sign to show support. This petition is being sent to J Records to show them that O-Town fans DO and wil ALWAYS exist. So please sign it. It has about 1100 signatures so far.

We are going to do a little something in the next week or two for each O-Town member and we need your help. We want the fans to express to us why they like a certain member of the group. So if your favorite member is Jacob, for example, email me with the subject JACOB and tell me why he is your fave and why you admire him so much. If you like Erik, put ERIK as the subject and so on and so forth. The first 50 emails I get for each member will be considered to have their entries posted on the website. But only the best 30 of each 50 will be actually posted.
RULES:
1. You must email this address ONLY!!: OTownsFlipChick@aol.com.
2. You must put the name of the member you are writing about as the subject.
3. You must not make your entry too long. A maximum of 10 to 12 sentences should be the limit.
4. You cannot use any inappropriate language or just say things like, "...because he is so cute" or "I love him so much", etc. Your entries should be sincere and have substance.
5. If your entry is selected and you do not want your email/screename address posted, please let me know in the email otherwise your screename will be shown.

Seriously I think there is some curse put on me with computers. My internet hook-up is down for some reason and I don't think I will have it fixed till the end of this month. So anywho I am posting because there has been a huge rumor going around about O-Town breaking up. Please people don't beleive what you hear from people only listen to what official people are saying. Nothing has been confirmed by O-Town's management, O-Town themselves, J records or any other O-Town official source. Inside O-Town will be the first people to tell you what is going on probably. The tag-board has become this huge negative thing where people go to bash O-Town, or to start rumors. If things don't change we will probably remove it from the site. Anywho we received an e-mail from Andrea from O-Town's Street Team and all those messages that were said on the tag-board by someone posing to be Andrea are NOT true. While the Street Team is on hiatus she is not receiving any info or news on O-Town at all. We apologize to everybody who has beleived the rumors started on the tag-board. Fans, keep staying faithful and always support O-Town no matter what, they need us more then ever now. Thanks so much.

Sorry for not reporting this news sooner but almost all of you are part of O-Town clubs and lists so may have already heard. Yesterday, July 12, the FANS campaigned to re-purchase copies of the O2 CD to show that they still have it takes to make it in this business. We wanted to show J records that they have our full support. Although this was set for yesterday, why not purchase a copy today, tomorrow, or any day?! Also, it has been said that record sales are not taken by discount retail stores such as Walmart or Target so please go to stores like Best Buy or Sam Goody. Also, this weekend was the 2nd annual O-Town Fan Conference in Ohio. If you attended the event, we would love to hear how the experience was so please email us!
We would also love to hear what you want out of this website! IF you have any ideas to help keep this site as exciting as it was when it first started, please fill out the feedback form below. We cannot use all the ideas submitted but we would like to hear some suggestions and maybe we can incorporate them into the site. More updates later today....

NEW TOUR DATE JUST RELEASED! Yah you heard right! O-Town is going to be in Binghamton, NY on August 3rd performing a rockin' show! David Passagno the event coordinator stated, "I'm excited about O-Town. And if this classic rock thing works out, we'll have the best lineup we've ever had." As far as my opinion goes I know this show will be great and I am sure the people of Binghamton, NY will be huge O-Town fans after this show. Also I know that this week has been full of O-Town concerts on the east coast and I would love it if fans who attended these shows could send us their encounters HERE. We would really appreciate it! Also I heard O-Town left the concert last night right away to catch MAROON5'S show in Farmingdale, NY and I just wanted to tell you guys that Maroon5 is amazing I have had their album "Songs About Jane" since it hit the scene and I can't stop listening to it, it's the best album I have ever heard. Their music is very soulful so if you are a cool cat I suggest you go pick up the album!
Finally, I just wanted to give a huge shout out to my girl's Keri and Nicole who gave Jacob rockin' red suspenders at the Chicago show! (his old ones broke last year) Jacob has been sporting them at a few concerts this week. Anywho I just wanted to say that Jacob rocks and so does his suspenders! Oh ya speaking of Jacob you can go over to www.otownfanconference.com and hear a little message that he said to all you awesome O-Town fans out there. So go check it out cause it's really...HOT! Hey guys! I got some bad news....the concert at The Staircase in Pittson, PA on June 24th has been cancelled. Those of you who were planning on catching that show I am really sorry that, that show wont be happening. From what I have been told they did not sell enough tickets for this show and everybody who purchased tickets to this show can go back to where they got them and get a full refund. (thanks to Samantha for the info) Anywho....I know it's been a while and some of you have been wondering what has been going on with the O-Town Fan Conference raffle we were having. Well we finally picked a winner a few days ago and her name is Melanie and she will recieve two tickets to this event and will be providing our site with all the happenings going on during this 3 day event. So even if you wont be attending the OFC this year we will still be giving you the low-down on what went down so you wont feel left out! So big congrats to Melanie! Thanks to everybody who took part in this contest we wish we could send you all. :)

Added a new Poll. Our last poll showed that your local radio stations are not supporting O-Town at all! I know a lot of us have been calling in and requesting, making petitions, etc., but it doesn't seem to be working. But we can't give up. Let's continue to call the stations, write to J Records and to ask them to PROMOTE!
Also, the guys are featured in the JULY 03 issue of Popstar magazine. There is a 2 page article, a bunch of pics of the guys, and pics of Trevor at a celebrity basketball game. Go pick it up!

I just want to comment on O-Town's show in Chicago last week really quick. The guys were awesome! The show was a lot shorter than I expected but the energy level was through the roof! But let me tell ya...O-Town fans are nuts! There was a lot of pushing and attitude going on but nonetheless, the guys put on a great show. It was also nice to see all of my O-Town buddies. If any of my pictures turn out ok, I'll post them soon.

Trevor is going to be playing in the Challenge for the Children celebrity basketball game on July 18th-20th in Miami for more info you can go HERE. Also we have been getting e-mails asking if there is going to be a Making the Band DVD and if you want to see that happen you can go to www.tvshowsondvd.com and vote for it to make it to DVD (thanks to Kate for the info). Well I think that is it. Oh one more thing....I was wondering if anybody took pics at the June 12th show in Chicago at the House of Blues and would be willing to trade or sell me a copy of them if they are decent pics. WOW!!! That's all I can say. The show in Chicago at the House of Blues was intense! I have never seen the guys perform with so much energy then I did at that show. They were so happy...you could see it in there performance and in their eyes. I was so proud of the guys and I miss them so much I wish we could all see them more on t.v. and in concert and actually hear their songs being played on the radio because O-Town deserves nothing but the best! All the fans that attended this show were insane! That small music hall was packed and I know O-Town was sooo...proud to be there, we sure did show them what Chicago was made out of and gave them all the love they needed. As for my experience let's just say I had a blast! The highlight of the night.....Jacob running off stage with the rockin red suspenders that Keri and Nicole gave to him! Guys he was so excited about those! FYI: Jake's oh so famous red suspenders broke like last year so we had to truck it up and help Him out LOL! Good times! Well that's basically it and I think Erika took some pics so those should be up in the near future. I added some Fan Encounters and there are two new ones in there from the Chicago show so if you want to know more about what went down check those out. I hope they release some more dates soon so everybody will be able to attend one of these shows because it's something you don't want to miss! Well that's it have a good Father's Day tomorrow! O-TOWN FANS...WHERE YOU AT??? All of you big O-Town fans, let's get together and get this site going on full speed once again! A lot of people email us asking why we barely update and it's for a lot of reasons! First, O-Town isn't in the news as much but it also is because the fans aren't submitting anything to us. So we need your help! Even if there isn't much news, we would like to do other things like post fan encounters, graphics, art, spotlight, banners, obsessions, and so much more. So please, click around to some sections you have never visited or haven't been to in awhile and let's see if we can get the ball rolling once again. Fan interaction is the basis of this site and we can come together once again by keeping the O-Town spirit alive. We want to show them that we as fans have not given up. I know a few great O-Town sites have shut down but even though we haven't had as much time to work on the site, we do not want to close the site down! So we need your help. And with O-Town on tour currently, I am sure a lot of you have some great fan encounters, pictures and concert reviews you would like to share with us. Hello fellow O-Town fans! Erika here and I just want to personally thank every single person who emailed me and congratulated me on the birth of my daughter. (Sorry I can't email everyone back personally because that would take hours!) Her name is Vanessa by the way and everything is all good with her and myself. I am taking a break from work so I should be able to update things here and there. I know that's been said before but sometimes thing don't always work out as planned so hopefully I'll have some time now while the baby is asleep. lol. So I will definitely try to get my butt up to do some updating! In the meantime, continuing emailing us any news and new pictures of the guys!

Hey everybody! Yah I actually feel like posting because I am so pumped for my O-Town concert next week its gonna be HOT! As far as I know there are going to be two opening acts for the June 12th show in Chicago. Chicago's Finest J.ROMAN! (Making the Band, Vi3) Let's just say this show is going to be insane! And also opening for our boyz is a group called The Deuce Project. Their vibe is kinda rock/alternative. My computer is the slowest thing in the universe...it drives me insane. I would have updated sooner but this machine is nothin but trouble. Anywho...The O-Town Fan Page recently joined the O-Town Fan Directory and we think you should join too cause they are on a mission to get 1,000 fans listed to become the number one fanlisting. Hey guys!!! Yah I have been meaning to update or just post something on this site but ya my computer is vicious and always freezes on me. Anywho I was really...bored today so I did a couple updates. I even updated my area in the about us section (FYI: My birthday is in 2 days, May 9th) I am excited lol! You guys probably don't even care about that section but oh well...lol!!! We also received an e-mail from some fans from Canada starting up a project to help O-Town, you can read more about it below:

This is project: Canada Wants O-Town Back! Whether you're Canadian or not...you can help!

Were trying to get lots of letters from fans everywhere, so we can send them in an e-mail to venues and radio stations across Canada.We are hoping to show venues that many people wanna see O-Town, and then they will give O-Town offers to do concerts. Even if you're non-Canadian, if this works, they would probably need a headlining tour to come here, so they'd probably end up making one if they saw that everyone wanted to see them, and so they'd probably come to your city anyways. Then it would make us Canadians happy, and you Americans, or Germans or wherever your from, happy too.

O-Town has done many concerts in the U.S lately, but they haven't been to Canada for a really long time, so get your fingers typing and show O-Town and everyone how much Canada does love them! Remember we acknowledged them first, we need to prove to them that were still love them!>Write your letters about why you love O-Town and why you wanna see them come here again and e-mail it to otownproject@hotmail.com Our names are Kate and Angela.

Hey! I just received a new tour date from the promoters for the New England area for more information you can check out our tour dates section. Also a couple of fans have started up numerous ways to help keep O-Town on top. I recently have seen what can happen to a group once they get dropped from their label so I suggest all of you help and participate if you want to be hearing and seeing more O-Town as a group. Hear is a letter that was sent to us.

To All O-Town Fans-
If anyone has noticed O-Town needs our help, they need support and they need us to force J Records to see how much we care. People talk about sending J Records letters, but we at Fans For Fighting don't think that is good enough. We want J Records to really see how much we care, by making a gesture bigger than any other that o-town fans have ever done. We want to send J Records thousands of boxes of cereal in support for the guys. My names Rachael and it was my idea to start this program. I got the idea from my close friend who was an avid supporter of the TV show Roswell. Three years ago there was a campaign that fans of the WB show Roswell started, where they sent in over 10,000 bottles of Tabasco sauce to the WB network. The Tabasco sauce was a known symbol of the show and this kept the show on the air for 3 more seasons. By the end of the 3rd season over 20,000 bottles of Tabasco sauce were sent in. By sending in boxes of cereal J Records will recognize our support and see how many fans o-town really has. When thousands of cereal boxes are sitting in their office how can they blame their lack of support for o-town on their "lack of fans." Together we can all make a difference. I know that it may cost some money to send out the boxes, but the people at j records are capitalists, they know the importance of money, and when they see how much we spend on the guys they will really see how much we care. If anyone is interested in helping out please join the group or send me and email. We want to make sure that we have enough support so we can really make an impact.

Hey guys! Sorry for not posting on here for like two weeks. There has been no new O-Town news as far as I know and we don't have many fan interactive e-mails so theres nothing really to update. Next week there will be a ton of updates because it will be Jacob's birthday! Ya!!!! Oh yah there is a "These Are The Days" Hit Clips out in stores now so some of you might be interested in that. Well I added two new sections to the site OTFP Fan Signs and TATD's Video Pics. Those pics are kinda old now seeing that the video hasn't been on since November but oh well they are still awesome! Whoa! I just got my O-Town tickets for the June 12th show! I am very excited! Can you tell? And ya Vin is on TRL and that defiantly adds to my excitment. Anywho I found this little article about O-Town that might be of some interest and here it is..."Groovevolt.com reports the guys from O-Town have been begging Clive Davis and J Records to release a new single and video, but label execs have lost interest. Hey kids! I am back from Spring Break vacation if anyone cared. But ohmigod! O-Town finally released some tour dates and um guess what city they are coming to June 12th?! Yah Chicago! I am really...really excited because I haven't seen the boys since November and I was kinda losing hope for them until now! Sad news is Erika is my concert buddy and her baby is due in two months which is very exciting as well! But now I have to drag somebody else with me...anyone wanna go?! LOL! Hello everyone! Yeah I know you haven't heard from me in weeks! Would have stopped in sooner if my computer didn't die on me again last week but that's all fixed now so I made a teeny update - Pic of the Week, Poll, and News. There isn't too too much going on right now with O-Town but we will update anything as soon as we hear of anything new. In the meantime we will continue updating the pics and other sections. I have vowed to recommit myself to the site. I won't be able to work on it as much as I'd like but it will be more than I have been doing lately. I updated the pics sections a week ago but I didn't post it, sorry. Thanks to Neo and somebody who sent in a bunch of pics but I lost your info so if you are out there e-mail us and I will give you total credit. Also if the pages come back unavailable please check back in a few minutes because that means too many people are accessing the page. If you go to Inside O-Town's message board they have a pic of Trevor's new hair cut if any of you are interested. He no longer has blonde tips but he is still reppin' the fro. Oh ya and Erik recently went to see Kevin Richardson (Backstreet Boys) in the musical "Chicago" on Broadway and many fans were pleased to see him, he gave many autographs and hugs. :)

Hey guys! I updated the NEWS section with info about the guys being on 'Regis andKelly' and a tour update. Yah I like how they wont be going on tour until like May when they said their tour would kick off in March! That's real cute...I know how much they enjoy pushing their dates back so I will deal. I got the Good Charlotte/New Found Glory tour to pull me over this spring so it will be alright. Anywho anyone watch the Grammy's? Yah well did you guys like when Nsync performed the Beegee's songs? Well if any of you have heard that mp3 of O-Town singing a couple of the Beegee's most famous disco songs you know that O-Town could have pulled that performance off better then those Nsyncer's any day! J Records is asking OUR imput on O-Town's new video, 'I Showed Her.' You can vote at the site HERE! but you must have an ID with Yahoo!
O-Town will perform on Nickelodeon's "All That" on February 15th. They'll be singing "I Showed Her."
O-Town will perform at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 23rd at the Rock-N-Sports Experience that will be held at the Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC. You can get tickets at the door.
O-Town is scheduled to perform for Y100 on February 8 or 9, 2003 at the VolleyPalooza in Miami, Florida. We're not sure what they'll be singing on when, but as soon as we find out we'll post it!

I just read an amazing article on O-Town. Wow! I haven't been on this site in years, atleast that's what it feels like! I hope everybody had a good Holiday break, I know I sure did! Anywho I got a new computer but when I brought it on the plane with me back home some how it got messed up so I am out of a computer for right now hopefully everything will get fixed this week. Pray for me guys lol! Anywho I am sure most of you know but O-Town is set to go out on tour in February! Dates will be released soon I hope! Also I was searchin the web and I found an article about the most related O-Town searches in November and our site was mentioned, 550 searched for our site in November. Hey guys! It was officially announced today, O-Town's second single off of O2 will be 'I Showed Her.' Many of you might remember that this was initially going to be their first single. Since 'These are the Days' didn't do so hot, we have to do EVERYTHING in our power to get this next single going! It should be released to the radio stations by the end of this month, but for now, it wouldn't hurt to do some requesting of 'These are the Days.' I have both O-Town's appearance on Dick Clark (TATD and Craving) and the Rose Parade (TATD). The sale on all my video stuff has been extended, so please check stuff out at the -Trade and Sell Page.

5...4...3...2...1...HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Hope everyone had a great time ringing in the new year and was able to catch the boys on TV last night and earlier today. 2002 was definitely our best and biggest year for this website and we have YOU to thank for it. There will be a lot of changes in 2003, some of which aren't so great but in order for us to keep up with the site, we will have to do a bit of downsizing. What we mean by this is a few of the sections will be eliminated. The ones that don't receive much attention or fan feedback/participation will be taken off. Other sections will remain but we won't be taking in any new submissions for it. Right now, we are not sure what sections will be a part of this downsize but of course the more important sections such as news and all the latest info will remain. This will help us keep up with the site better because lately, all our schedules have been tremendously busy. With 3 of the 4 person team graduating this year and myself expecting another child in June (yes my 3rd!), we have just been going through a lot and concentrating on our futures. But for now, we will do our best to bring the fans any news and info on O-Town. We hope 2003 will be a great year for everyone and we are so happy to have reached this point website wise as well.
