Rock on TV recap:
Touring can be hard on the body, mind and the prospect of finding some cute girls to hang out with. The O-Town guys get a break from the road and are put up in a mansion in the woods for two days. The guys are prepared to take advantage of their small break to hang with their significant others--or in Trevor's case, to hook up! Ashley provides the girls, but Trevor needs to supply the moves. Unfortunately, farting in the hot tub is not the best way to grab the ladies' attention. However, the band leaves their palace in good spirits, and Trevor still has hope of finding that lucky lady.

O-Town Fan Page Recap:

Finally...the guys have 2 DAYS OFF! That seemed like something that was not part of the O-Town world...time off. But their recording seesion was cancelled so their managers booked the guys a cabin in a beatifully secluded resort. They were allowed to bring friends and so of course, Ashley invites Shelli. Yes, Shelli. He made it very clear in this episode that they are still an item. And Jacob invites his long time sweetheart, Janie. Erik and Dan also invite a couple of girls, Kat and Krista who are "just friends", but then we have Trevor left with no one special to invite.

Before they arrive at the cabin, Ashley and Jacob try to play matchmaker. They both ask their girlfriends (without each other knowing of their plans) to bring someone along to maybe spend some time with Trevor so that he has some type of a female companion. Both Shelli and Janie agreed to bring someone for Trevor. They then arrive at the cabin and are extremely ecstatic about how cool the cabin looked. This made thier days off a little more appreciated because to some of them, it was even nicer than their own house in Orlando! Then the girls arrive...

Trevor was a little envious that everyone had someone to greet at the door. But to Trevor's surprise, there were 2 gilrs there to see him! One was Amy, Janie's little sister, and then Jamie, Shellis friend. Although he was happy to see his friends were so kind to think of him, he wanted to make it known that he could "hook himself up". But was flattered by the gesture.

Before all the fun begins, the guys gather around and sing a little song together as Ashley and Jacob play the guitar. (This was written and arranged by O-Town) It is entitled "All She Wrote" which is about a relationship that ends by a letter written. Here is how some if it goes... "that's all she wrote, left me alone....No reason why...to read between the lines...You walked out the door I realized that my heart was all yours baby. That's all she wrote...read between the lines...goodbye...that's all she wrote..." During this, Trevor talks about how he wishes he could eventually have a relationsghip the way Ashley is with Shelli or how Jacob is with Janie. Awww...

Trevor then gets to know both the girls who were invited to chill with him and begins to enjoy each of their company. Then they cut away to show Trevor chooping some wood. He did a pretty good job! As Erik watches, he wants to take a stab at it. No dice. He barely even cut a slit into it on his first try. But it was cute nonetheless. Then they both begin to discuss woman and how Trevor is just too shy and how it is so hard to find the right woman. But Erik assures him that it will just happen when it is suppose and that you shouldn't go on looking for that someone. If it is meant to be, then that person will come to you.

Then they show Janie asking her sister what she thinks about Trevor. She says she likes him and that he is nice and that she is excited to be able to hang out with everyone. Then we move slong to see Shelli asking Jamie what she thinks about Trevor. She too enjoys Trevor's company and makes it apparent that she is pretty interested in him. Dinner time comes along and Jaciob is cooking lobster! YUM! But Shelli becomes attached to the lobster (huh?, LOL) and does not want to see Jacob cooking them. So she begins to cry. AWWWW. Totally irrevelant to the episode, but it was funny.

The group then decides to play a little game called the blanket game. Trevor was picked to be the guinea pig. The idea if the game is for Trevor to get underneath a blanket while everyone else sits around it so that he cannot get out. Then he has to take some type clothing off his body and hand it someone until he is totally naked. The point of it is that they have thought of something that is part of his body/clothing and he has to guess what it is. So for example, he would remove his sock thinking maybe they are thinking of his sock. If he gets it wrong, he has to continue to remove his clothes. End result...he ends up almost naked under the blanket. So everything he removes is not what they wanted from him. What did they really want? THE BLANKET!! So he is left there with his boxers on because all they wanted was the blanket...not any part of his clothing. Why are they all picking on the poor guy?!

Now Janie shows Jacob some old love letters from junior high so Jacob begins to blush. But then he says he wishes Trevor can find someone who can share these little fun moments of love with someone soon. Now Trevor, Ashley, Shelli, and her friend Jamie chill in the hot tub for some conversation. But just as Trevor is beginning to become comfortable around Jamie, something happens. Trevors cuts the cheese! They all begin to laugh but Trevor denies doing it. Ashley begins to describe how the "eruption of bubbles came from Trevor's direction..." and so Trevor is embarrassed ONCE AGAIN!

The show goes on about Trevor's search for true love and how he isn't shy performing in front of 20,000 people every night but is different in front of one girl. Trevor enjoyed hanging out with the girls but now it is time to say goodbye. He is still without that special someone (at the time of this episode at least) but we hope he finds the love of his life eventually.

The show closes out with the gus all commenting on their thoughts about love and realtionships. They seem like pretty romantic guys and whoever their special person is, we hope they are happy!

TV Guide recap:
The tables are turned on O-Town, as it's their turn to try “making the band.” The lads act as judges in a radio-station contest, then groom the winning singer for an audition while he comes to live with them for a week.

O-Town Fan Page Recap:
The second episode starts off with a performance of thiers from their tour. They leave tht stage with confidence that they had a great show. But as they get backstage their manager tells them their choreography was becoming sloppy and that they had to work on it. They reviewed the tape of that particular show and was critiqued on their every move. But they had a little fun with a dance Ashley did but then he proclaimed it his "haoppy" dance. But before they can get back to practicing their moves, they have been informed that there is a promotionm going on where O-Town must judge a contest. The winner gets to spend a week with them at home, during rehearsals, etc, to get a feel of f life on the road.

Five finalists have been pre selected and the guys have to choose only one as the winner. As each finalist auditioned, O-Town felt that each person provided something special and that made it even harder to decide. Erik even made a comment that these 5 guys should form their own group! This was a bit of role reversal because they showed clips of thier auditions and now had to be the decision makers. They saw themselves in each person because they were once there. Now they can make someone else's dreams come true. But after some deliberation, their final decision was made and they selected a young man by the name of JD. He had the all around talent and look they were looking for. So life with O-town we go...

JD gets to stay at their home, and also see the fans hanging around at rehearsals. He kinda gets the low down from the fans on the difference between a teenybopper and a fan. The guys tell him that hey have a responsibility to their fans when asked "Does it feel weird that they are hanging out outside?" He then watches the guys polish up thier act by working with their choreographer, Ed. Later, JD also gets to perform for a showcase to give people a taste of what he is all about and then hopefully make it in music. Which would be a good thing because while JD was touring with O-Town, he received a call from his boss saying that he is no longer employed. Reason? First they were supportive of his audition but now that he was won and is taking more time off, they decided to let him go. But JD's determination and living out the experience didn't get him down. He got to meet Britney and watch the guys perform.

JD basically gets to see what life is like on the road and experiences the hectic schedule that a performer goes through. He seemed to enjoy the time spent with O-Town (who wouldn't?!) and even sat down with their managers to discuss what kind of future JD has in music. They were willing to work with him and get some material for him. So maybe getting fired from his job happened for a reason. Will we see JD in the near future? Only time will tell.

Episode recap: Season 3, Episode #2. (c) 2002 O-Town Fan Page. Do Not Copy.

January 19, 2002 - #1

This first episode takes a look at the past accomplishments of the group and how they rose to fame in the previous seasons. Then it takes you to the next move O-Town makes in their careers, their fall tour with Britney Spears. Upon receiving the invitation to tour with Britney, Trevor, a huge fan, becomes very excited. The other guys, with the exception of Jacob also show their excitement as they know that this tour will be huge and will attract many other fans. Jacob is a little skeptical. He feels as though since they already headlined two tours in the past, they should not have to resort to being an opening act. He expresses his thoughts by stating that he feels that o-town is bigger than that...being an opening act. But once told that this could be the opprotunity they are looking for, he agreed to do it. So as special guests on the Britney Spears tour, they begin to rehearse. As they prepare for the show, tensions rise as once again because the time they have to get ready is very short. But they pull together and begin working hard as they always do.

Duirng their rehearsals, they receive word that their song, All or Nothing has been nominated for Top 40 Song of the Year for the Radio Music Awards and was asked to fly out to Las Vegas. Again, Jacob was concerned because he felt that this trip to Vegas would take too much trime away from tour rehearsals. But the other guys expressed to him that if they win, it would be a dream come true to be there to accept the award. It was also proven to be a good move for them because they would be meeting with top radio DJ's and doing interviews and showing the world that they came a long way from last years radio award show.

As they made it to Las Vegas, they prepared for the awards show and became a little nervous about the award the were up for. But their vocal couch tried to instill confidence in them letting them know "YOU GUYS ARE GONNA WIN!". With the pressures beginnining to sink in, they were left dissapointed in losing to the song Lady Marmalade performed by 4 very big stars, Christina Aguilera, Pink, Mya , and Lil Kim. But the guys still felt like winners as being nominated was an honor in itself.

Back to tour rehearsals...Trevor makes it very clear that he is quite excited to be touring with Britney. His five reasons for liking Britney: 1. She fine. 2. She's damn fine. 3. She's pretty fine. 4. She fine. 5. She's hot.

Upon arriving to the first venue on the tour, they take a good look at the arena and are amazed by everything. Then the time finally comes where the band gets to meet Britney Spears. Trevor of course is quite anxiuos. They get to speak to her for a brief moment but not without embarrassing Trevor in front of Miss Britney!! They tell her a story of him making a phone call to who he thought was her but really was given the number of someone else who works with them. He tells her that he is Trevor from O-Town and proceeds to inform her that he is a huge fan of hers. But the woman on the other line goes along with the joke and tells Trevor that she thinks O-Town sucks, why are you bohering me, etc. Trevor is shocked to hear these things from her. But then is finally called out by being told that is was NOT Britney and that it was a joke. So he was very emabarrased in front of her when they guys told her this story! But she was very flattered by his admiration for her.

But now the time has come for O-town to take the stage. They rocked the house and the crowd reaction was deafening. They were very proud of their performance and proved that they are not just a novelty act. O-Town is hotter than ever! Stayed tuned for epsiode recaps every week right here on www.o-townfanpage.net.
